  Abstract:  Des recherches concernant l’Orthodoxie en Amérique. Il y a deux grandes catégories d’ouvrages en ce qui concerne ce sujet. Quelques uns ont un caractère général et suivent l’évolution de la présence orthodoxe en Amérique du Nord sous toutes ses formes de manifestation juridictionnelle. D’autres abordent la même présence d’une manière séquentielle, en se raportant à l’évolution d’une seule branche de l’Orthodoxie Américaine ou en se concentrant sur une certaine période de cette évolution et sur quelques personnalités qui ont marqué la branche juridictionelle respective et son évolution historique. Il nous faut remarquer aussi la tendance actuelle que la recherche enregistre dans le sens de l’étude documentaire, attribut essentiel de toute approche historique pertinente.
